VICTORIA DEL BINO, B.S.
As Care Coordinator at Alamo Counseling, I facilitate a welcoming and seamless transition into our services.
I strive to help our clients feel comfortable with the process by being responsive, attentive, and informative. I promptly respond to inquiries about our clinicians, their availability, and your care options. I support you and your family with intake, consent forms, scheduling and confirming of sessions, or offering referrals as needed. I ensure clarity about our private practice policies while coordinating superbills for those seeking out-of-network reimbursement. I approach all clients with empathy, respect, and a genuine desire to understand needs.
My journey in this field began with a certification in Addiction Studies and an internship in Addiction Counseling. I continued my training at St. Mary's College where I earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology, and as the lead residential counselor in a treatment program for adolescents with substance use disorders. That role advanced into the position of Milieu Trainer where I coordinated new counselor trainings, assisted agency directors with process issues, and found creative and innovative ways to improve Northern California programs.
My professional experiences have brought me an immense amount of fulfillment, reinforcing and strengthening my commitment to a career in mental health. I am continuing on this track at the Wright Institute towards a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology, to achieve my goal of becoming a licensed therapist. My mission is to wholeheartedly serve my community while pursuing my passion. I look forward to working with you and providing exceptional support.
