CONTINUING EDUCATION TRAININGS

Alamo Counseling provides enriching trainings for continuing education in psychotherapy to effectively improve the health and wellness of individuals, families, and diverse groups by advancing clinical knowledge and skills. Licensees must complete a minimum of 36 hours of CE credits every two years to satisfy BBS requirements for licensure renewal.
Most courses are interactive, experiential, and designed to build a sense of community and connection. This includes live Q&A, virtual group chat, and breakout room learning activities in webinar and classroom settings. Trainings for Winter and Spring of 2023 have been added to the course list and are available for registration. As both virtual and in-person trainings are offered, please note the location prior to registering.
Alamo Counseling is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, LEPs and BBS Registered Associates (CEPA provider #1000139). At this time, we offer CE credit to clinicians that are licensed or registered in California only. Prelicensees may earn professional development hours for attending trainings approved by their supervisors.
Shalini Mongia, LMFT maintains responsibility for the Alamo Counseling continuing education program and all of its course content.
